This is an exciting new theme for MCA! In this intermediate workshop, each singer will pick a favorite singer and sing songs they either sang, wrote, or revived. ( say that singer took a song and gave it new life). This is a fun way to select your own theme. We are very excited for this different workshop. Details are the same as all our workshops in terms of how we break things down, but this time, you have the opportunity to really make your set your own.

PERFORMANCE IS WEDNESDAY JUNE 12 @ 7pm at Don't Tell Mama
Pick your own songs! NO theme class.
This popular workshop is for singers who love to perform. Perfect for all types of music including pop, jazz, broadway and standards. This class is the perfect transition for anyone who has experienced performing in groups and wants to have more experience with solo singing. Each performer will sing 3 songs in the final performance. Workshop culminates with a performance complete with piano. Over the 8 weeks we will work on song selection, proper key, vocal style and all vocal adjustments, breaking down lyrics and finding your personal connection through patter and basically have a great time! Limited to 6 -7 students.

The Salon is all about working on new songs, revisiting old songs, trying out anything and everything without the time line of a performance.
Work on material for the fun of it- maybe there is a song you have always wanted to sing but it just never fit in a set. You can sing it in Salon! maybe you want to just sing things for future shows, or just sing!
Salon is limited to 5 people so you all have plenty of time to work on material.

Eadie will be continuing with her Cabaret Performance Workshop through The Westchester Community College. For six weeks on Monday evenings. 6pm-8pm
